You may have noticed that our competitor's prices are 50% higher than ours (compare $94.99 to $143.00 for Set 02GA - Wheels, Seat & Ahead!!!). There are a few reasons for this:
- 1. Urban Bike Tech deals with Pitlock products and only Pitlock products. My attention is focused on Pitlock and not a huge range of other product lines. I can guarantee that what you order is what you will receive and that you'll be able to order replacement parts in the future.
- Our competitor retails Pitlock products for full MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price). In my opinion, these are too high. I would prefer to see more of Pitlock's parts on people's bikes than have them priced out of people's budgets. Our profit margin is lower, but we make up for it in volume.
- With a single line of product, we don't need to support a large warehouse or many employees. This keeps cost down.
